The Judicial Review Board, as part of UMW’s judicial system, plays a role in upholding the University’s Code of Conduct. It adjudicates alleged violations of the Code of Conduct with fairness and impartiality, holding students accountable for their behavior with an emphasis on educational sanctioning. The board consists entirely of students who are elected to their positions through a campus-wide election.
JRB meets on Sunday afternoons at 5 pm on the second floor of Mercer Hall for their weekly meeting. The members serve on a hearing board on a rotating basis. Other duties include spreading awareness about the University’s Code of Conduct and participating in some SGA events throughout the year.
